Overview:

The Cisco IOS DHCP feature can be configured with a few optional, but recommended, commands including TFTP, DNS and Default Gateway.

The Cisco IOS DHCP feature can be configured with a few optional, but recommended, commands including TFTP, DNS and Default Gateway IP address.
The TFTP option 150 is used to identify an external server that will be used to store the DHCP bindings database.
The DNS setting is used to identify the ip address of the DNS server on the network.
The gateway option is used to define a default-gateway for the clients.
